On 8th of July 2024, at the Annual Meeting of the Controlled Release Society (July 8-12 2024) in Bologna (https://www.controlledreleasesociety.org/), Prof. Santos was inducted College of Fellow Member of the CRS. The CRS is the largest international Society in drug delivery. According to the CRS, the elevation to 'Fellow' is a prestigious recognition of an exceptional individual in the field of controlled release, who has made outstanding and sustained contributions to the field of delivery science and technology. Fellows distinguish themselves as leaders in their field through impactful contributions in fundamental or applied research, technology, products, and/or education within the areas of interest of the CRS.
Prof. Santos received this international recognition from his peers from the hands of the current President of the CRS, Prof. Twan Lammers.
