Turning Evidence Into Impact: Vaccines, Diagnostics, and Health Equity

My work sits at the intersection of health economics, infectious disease prevention, and diagnostic innovation, with a particular focus on vaccines and early‑detection technologies. I combine modelling, economic evaluation, and contextual assessment of new technologies to support equitable and cost‑effective public health interventions. Through the RIVER‑EU project, I contribute to evaluating the cost‑effectiveness of interventions aimed at improving HPV and MMR vaccinations uptake among underserved migrant in the European region, while my role in the DRAIGON project advances the health economic assessment of cutting‑edge diagnostic technologies designed to enhance the early detection and management of bloodstream infections. Together, these projects reflect my commitment to generating evidence that informs policy, strengthens health systems, and improves health outcomes.
