MS Research travel grants for 2 PhD students of MNB section

Stichting MS Research awarded two PhD students of the Molecular Neurobiology section with a travel grant, financially supported by Fund Girn. Post doctoral researcher Janssen Kotah and PhD student Mirjam Koster each received a grant to learn new techniques to study multiple sclerose in more detail.

Janssen is planning to visit the Charité University hospital in Berlin to study the changes in microglial cells around MS lesions. He will be introduced in the so-called imaging mass cytometry technique. Mirjam will visit our collaborators of the MS Centre Amsterdam to study the pathological processes in MS lesions using RNAscope.
