Grant Support, Project Manager

My goal is to help researchers secure funding so they can focus on what they do best: advancing scientific knowledge and developing innovative biomedical technologies. I work with researchers to transform new scientific ideas into successful grant proposals. I scout for relevant funding opportunities, collaborate with researchers to craft compelling proposals, bring together consortiums of co-applicants, and make sure all grant submissions follow strict funding regulations through careful reviews.

Once a grant is awarded, I take on the role of project manager, overseeing the onboarding and execution of the grants. This includes coordinating grant and consortium agreements, communicating with funding agencies and stakeholders, and tracking project deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.

Additionally, our team is committed to improving the success rate of grant applications, for example, by leveraging the data on grant applications and awarded projects. To this end, I developed a grant tracker, an internal web application that streamlines data on grant applications, funding agencies and calls, makes it easier to access for researchers and our management team, and ultimately aims to increase our overall success rates in securing funding for our researchers.

I also support the researchers with arranging legal contracts, data management plans, website management, outreach and creating annual reports for the departments.
