I am presently working on my PhD project exploring the relationship between emotional distress and the transition from acute to chronic pain. Ultimately, our goal is to develop a personalized prediction model that enhances preventive strategies. To achieve this, we are conducting a complex systems analysis to create a causal loop diagram to illustrate how various factors impact the transition to chronic pain.
