Research Focus: Biomedical Materials Innovation

 My expertise lies in materials science and engineering, with a focus on biomaterials for biomedical applications. I am currently pursuing a Sandwich PhD between the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the University of Groningen in the Santos Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Shahbazi. My work focuses on developing advanced wound dressings that incorporate nanoscale bioactive compounds to promote healing and prevent infection. Ultimately, I aim to create practical medical solutions for patients with hard-to-treat wounds.
