While the Lifelines NEXT trajectory ends when a child celebrates their first birthday, we can now also follow NEXT children for a longer period of time.

Everyone who has ever participated in Lifelines NEXT will be approached to participate in follow-up until the Lifelines NEXT children are old enough to enter the regular Lifelines study (around age 6-8 years). In our follow-up, we will ask participants to complete a questionnaire twice a year and to collect faeces once a year.
