As a Grant Strategy Advisor at the UMCG Grant Office, I support researchers in developing strategic approaches to research funding, with a particular focus on regional and European funding opportunities and public-private partnerships. My work focuses on the early stages of grant development. In addition, I specialise in storytelling, research impact, and the development of departmental funding strategies. Through workshops, strategic discussions, and tailored advice, I help researchers strengthen the positioning of their research and develop a more strategic approach to securing research funding. I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and International Organisations and a Master's degree in International Political Economy. My previous experience as an EU Policy Officer in Brussels and a Subsidies & Innovation Consultant in Groningen has provided me with extensive knowledge of European policies, funding programmes, and innovation initiatives.
