Jan Willem has worked both in academia and industry in different roles. He has broad experience with external research collaboration at ATO-DLO (Wageningen). He also had a long career within the dairy industry in different roles, starting as Manager R&D, then Product Group Manager, Growth Initiatives manager and setting up and leading a PMO on supply chain investment projects. Jan Willem holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente, Industrial Marketing at STEM-TSM and obtained a black belt degree in LeanSixSigma from IIBLC. He joined the UMCG Innovation Center in March 2022. At the Innovation Center, he is involved in HTRIC, which aims to develop and accelerate activities in the MedTech market segment.
