I am a PhD student in the group of Prof. Dr. Iris Sommer in the department of Biomedical Sciences of Cells and Systems. My research focuses on biological psychiatry, in particular treatment of severe depression with fast-acting antidepressants like electroconvulsive therapy and ketamine. With use of EEG recordings, neuroimaging techniques and clinical measures, I study the mechanisms underlying the pathology and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
