Innovation Lecture: Building the Digital Health Ecosystem for the Northern Netherlands (DHENN)

The UMCG Innovation Center invites colleagues and regional partners to attend an upcoming Innovation Lecture focused on strengthening collaboration and accelerating digital health innovation across the Northern Netherlands.

Healthcare is facing increasing pressure from an aging population, workforce shortages and rising costs. At the same time, the Northern Netherlands offers strong expertise, infrastructure and a culture of collaboration. The Digital Health Ecosysteem Noord Nederland (DHENN) program brings these strengths together to enable validation and adoption of digital solutions, accelerate innovation and improve the accessibility, quality, and sustainability of care.

During this session, program managers will present the program’s mission, structure and the opportunities it creates for regional stakeholders across the public and private sectors.
Participants will gain insight into:

  • The DHENN program and its mission
  • Opportunities for healthcare organizations, companies and public partners to collaborate and accelerate their innovation journey
  • Current initiatives, including the stakeholder map and the innovation platform that engage the regional network

The lecture will also share the story behind the development of DHENN and highlight how collective action can drive meaningful impact for healthcare and the regional economy.
