Full professor

I am associate professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Educational Director of the Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment (MMIT) MSc Programme of the UMCG. In my work I develop nanomedicine for drug delivery. We rationally design nanomedicine through the study of nanoparticle-cell dynamics, with applications in brain-related diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), and glioblastoma multiforme (GBM).
