MD/PhD Student

I am a medical student and PhD candidate in the Department of Acute Internal Medicine at the UMCG. My research focuses on unravelling the immunological mechanisms underlying sepsis-induced acute lung injury (ALI) and identifying innovative biomarkers and therapeutic targets for its effective management. This research is conducted within Acutelines, a hospital-based data- and biobank which facilitates acute care and research.
