After careful consideration, our committee has selected the five best proposals. Watch the video with the five winners and their projects for the HTRIC Call for Research proposals in 2024.

• Sarthak Misra, Michael Lerch & Jean-Paul de Vries with Soft advanced robotics for minimally invasive surgery.
  
   
• Frans Bianchi & Jelmer Prins with Prognostic tests for early interventions in preeclampsia.
• Hilbrand Oldenhuis, Elisabeth Wilhelm & Claudine Lamoth with Monitoring and targeted treatment in the diabetes continuum.
• Klaas Poelstra, Klaas Nico Faber & Peter Olinga with Design of a theranostic approach for patients with intestinal diseases.
• Patrick van Rijn, Daniele Parisi & Baucke Van Minnen with Bone morphogenic biodegradable implants
  
   

Each research project will be conducted by a PhD candidate and supervised by the experts above, from either the Faculty of Science and Engineering - University of Groningen, UMCG and Hanzehogeschool Groningen or a company.
