Are you a researcher at UMCG working with (or planning to work with) data science or machine learning? Then this hands-on workshop is for you. Many researchers are not yet familiar with the tools, digital environments and support available at UMCG - this session will show you what's out there and help you get started.
What to expect:
- A clear overview of the steps in data-driven research, including data management, analysis and deployment.
- Introduction to key tools, such as data collection platforms (e.g. REDCap) and secure digital environments (e.g. myDRE).
- Practical insights into safely storing and sharing data, collaborating with other hospitals and finding support.
- Hands-on work in a virtual research environment.
- Guided use of the Machine Learning Canvas to structure and plan the tools for your research.
