This annual congress brings together all lung research in The Netherlands with other stakeholders like patients, clinicians and the Dutch Lung fund. During the congress both Roy Woldhuis and Pauline Kuks competed for the Netherlands Respiratory Society (NRS) Young Investigator Award and in the end a jury and the audience choose Pauline as the final winner and Roy as a runner up. She was awarded a prize of 5000 euros to spend on science. In addition, Jelmer Vlasma and Tatiana Karp also convinced the jury of their enthusiasm for science when discussing their poster. They each won one of the five available poster awards of 250 euro.
