I am a medical and PhD student at the department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology at the UMCG, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. H.R. Bouma, Prof. Dr. R.H. Henning and dr. J.Moser. My research is focused on investigating the molecular mechanisms of mitochondrial dysfunction in sepsis, with the aim to identify possible drug targets to restore mitochondrial functioning and improve the outcome of patients with sepsis.
