Elmar began his career as a physical therapist before realizing this was not what he wanted. He pursued a Master of Science in Health Care Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. After, he went on to work for UMCG where he began working for IM Zorg. He worked on the Go-Live of our EMR (Epic), as well as projects regarding the implementation of EMR (modules) for Ophthalmology, Optimization, Beatrixoord and more. Elmar has a wide vision that helps connecting all aspects of realizing innovation ideas. He has been part of the team since September 2022 and he hopes he can help make a big impact on innovation for UMCG and her patients.
