Dr. Theo van Kooten celebrates the 25th anniversary at UMCG (BBT)

Today we celebrated the 25th anniversary of Dr. Theo van Kooten in our department.
Theo started in the Department ‘Materia Technica’, as we were named then, as an PhD (AIO) doing a lot of cell culturing. After his promotion, Theo did postdoctoral research work in Germany and in USA.
In 1998, Theo came back to our Department as our cell biology specialist, and has since taken part on a lot of teaching duties both in the biomedical engineering and the medicine curricula.

Theo, huge congratulations on behalf of our Department, and thank you very much for the past 25-years (and more to come) of commitment, support and hard-work.
