Dr. Adéla Melcrová got awarded the Kluyver Award!

Dr. Adéla Melcrová from the BBT department of the UMCG got awarded the Kluyver Award for an outstanding contribution to microbiology within 8 years after the PhD by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Vereniging voor Microbiologie (KNVM). The award has a long tradition since 1963 and is given on average only once every 3 year to a single promising young researcher in the Netherlands. We at the BBT department are very proud of this achievement, even more proud knowing that Dr. Melcrová is only the 2nd woman ever to receive this recognition.
