As a PhD candidate, I am working on a project called “The efficiency and cost-efficiency of lower limb prosthetics”. Our main aim is to compare conventional mechanical knees to micro-processor controlled knees and we do this by combining several research techniques. What I enjoy most about this research is the fact that we work with all parties involved in prosthetic care (patients, doctors, physical therapists, CPOs etc.)
