BrainStorm exhibition on brain research at Universiteitsmuseum Groningen

News
Researchers from the Center for CNC together with the team of Universiteitsmuseum Groningen created an exhibition about the human brain. We highlight how the brain accomplishes functions like thinking, wanting, feeling and perceiving. We show which techniques are used for brain research and what such research can bring.

This exposition provides an easy and fun way to understand how brain research works. It also shows visitors how complex and delicate your brain is and how you can best take care of it.

The exposition shows how language is produced and that it is a reflection of the mind. At the center for CNC we aim to use language to improve mental health care, by using it as a diagnostic aid and a monitoring device.
We also explain the gut-brain axis and show how healthy food with many different fibers can improve brain function.

We hope that BrainStorm will increase understanding of how the brain works for its visitors. Better knowledge on this fabulous organ will lead to more caution in taking good care of it.
