During our symposium we will discuss the successes and failures of global collaborative initiatives. Here, we will showcase innovative solutions for global health challenges and the various academic and practical expertise needed to address these. What can we learn from each other and why are public-private ecosystem collaborations instrumental in addressing the Global Health challenges?

In medicine and public health, the global context has never been so relevant. Cooperative actions between Global partners are essential to find solutions for health problems, issues and concerns that transcend National boundaries. Especially collaboration between the so-called “Global north and Global south” including shared-learnings are essential to impact on health and wellbeing across the globe. This is also being stressed by the Global Action Plan for Healthy Lives and Wellbeing for All (launched in 2019 by the WHO) that includes an important message: “stronger collaboration contributes to better health and wellbeing”.

The GHHG Symposium is a one-day interdisciplinary event that brings together people from all over the world who are working in research, education, policy and private companies. The symposium is useful to anyone who’s either interested in, supporting, facilitating, or working in global health. We hope to meet you during the event where you will find a warm ‘community of practice’, opportunities to meet other people and partners and to discuss on relevant topics in Global Health and seek for opportunities to work together for Global Health!
