Helping researchers in the grant application process or providing hands-on organizational support: as a project manager my aim is to contribute to the UMCG’s research environment. With a background in Journalism studies and a PhD in the history of political communications I have a special interest in the pre-award phase. What motivates me as a project manager is to help projects grow from idea to result, by providing input on communication, impact and outreach or by advising on how to strengthen a research proposal’s persuasive argument. With my experience in research and academia, I greatly enjoy working together with dedicated scientists and professionals of different backgrounds.
