Ann worked for publishing houses (Wolters Noordhoff, Historische Uitgeverij), holds a language teachers degree (Spanish) and is a lifestyle coach. From 2007 to 2016 she was assistant to the Dean/Vice Chairman of the Board of UMCG. In 2017 she joined both the Innovation Center and the Healthy Ageing Strategy Team of UMCG as staff advisor. For these two teams she fulfills an advising and coordinating role. Her main topics of interest are related to preventive healthcare.
