My research focuses on the role of nutrition in people who have undergone a major vascular lower limb amputation. My interest in this field started from my personal experience as an athlete where nutrition and physical activity are of great importance for performance. Next to this, nutrition and physical activity have a great positive effect on health, such as prevention, staying healthy and recovery, which fits my research.
