Development of mental health across the lifespan

 My motivation as a scientist has been driven by a great deal of curiosity as well as by the desire to better understand and predict the onset and course of mental health problems. My aim is to increase the effectiveness of prevention and care by improving knowledge on high-risk groups and pathways leading to good and poor health. I have applied an interdisciplinary approach to study mental health problems in various age groups, ranging from preadolescents to the elderly.
