I am a consulting hematopathologist, research programme leader of the SALL and a scientist. My research is focused on basic and translational aspects of lymphoma, especially Hodgkin lymphoma, a fascinating disease that offers great opportunities to study cancer immunology. I have a special interest in the tumor microenvironment, antigen presentation and immune checkpoints and aim to translate my research findings to clinical benefits for patients. To accomplish that I am a working group leader in the EORTC lymphoma group and the Interlymph consortium and a member of HOVON.
