Anja van der Heide works as staff advisor at the department of Strategy Development & External Relations of the UMCG. She has a master’s degrees in Human Movement Sciences and Change Management. After a career as change manager at Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs and management consultant in the public sector, she started working as staff advisor ‘innovation and implementation’ at the UMCG - Center for Rehabilitation in 2011. Anja is now program leader of the Personalised & Connected Health Ecosystem. This open innovation network in Northern Netherlands facilitates citizens, SME’s, professionals & researchers of care and welfare institutions to collaborate on developing innovative digital products, connected devices and/or services that contribute to Personal Health Environments. The activities focus on empowering the information position of citizens and patients, digitalization of prevention & care processes, and on cross-sectoral cooperation in the implementation of innovations in the region.
