I'm a UMCG PhD student at the Acute and Emergency department in the UMCG. With a technical medicine background, I’m focused on improving AI-based prediction of deterioration in ED patients with suspected infections. I analyze high-resolution waveforms from bedside monitors and wearables like EMG, ECG, and PPG, aiming to create a powerful tool for sepsis recognition and enhanced patient care.
