Ready for a smoother start? From October 1 onwards, all primary non-WMO submissions from the UMCG need to be submitted via the new application Research Manager. This application has been developed together with researchers and research coordinators of the UMCG. It is designed for easy, fast and complete submission, and ethical assessment of non-WMO studies (including studies using bio-/databank data and/or material ‘uitgiftes’), local feasibility, bio-/databank initiations. Please be aware that it will no longer be possible to obtain a non-WMO exemption via the METc UMCG if the UMCG is the sponsor.

Aiming for a smooth transition, a so-called “freeze period” has been incorporated in the time schedule, a month before the Go Live of Research Manager. During the month of September it is not possible to submit your non-WMO submission for assessment. Therefore, please keep in mind this “freeze period” in your planning.
