The UMCG ambassadors and working group on Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) cordially invite you to attend the D&I Seminars. 

The seminars will be held throughout the course of the entire year and their main goal is to spread awareness about D&I, give the opportunity to talk about diversity at all levels, and to create a safe and inclusive work environment. These seminars will be provided by experts on the topic of diversity and inclusion: Marian Joëls, Dean of UMCG; Iris Sommers, professor of Cognitive Aspects of Neurological and Psychiatric Disorders at the Departments of Neuroscience; Marco Versluis, gynecologist specialised in equal healthcare; and GerdaCroiset, Dean of Education.

For Whom?

The seminars will be open to the entire UMCG and everyone who is interested.

First seminar

When: March 22nd, 2022, 15:00-16:00. “Inauguration of the D&I series: Why diversity matters?” –  held by Marian Joëls, Dean of UMCG

Second seminar

When: June 20, 2022, 15:00-16:00. "The female brain - Differences and similarities between the men and women brain" –  held by prof. dr. Iris Sommer.
