Promising results new treatment option for heart failure

Heart failure is worldwide a major cause of morbidity and mortality. Patients diagnosed with heart failure have a 50 percent chance of passing away in the following 5 years.
500.000 euro grant for translational cardiology research

UMCG researchers Martijn Hoes and Wouter Meijers have both been awarded a 250.000 euro grant from the Dutch Heart Foundation for their upcoming research.
