Research into fertility, infant mortality, cervical cancer.
We focus on:
  • Gynecological Oncology; looking for the best treatment method for uterine cancer and options for vaccination against viruses that can cause cancer.
  • Reproductive Medicine; the influence of lifestyles on fertility. Preserving ovarian tissue from women who have cancer and are undergoing treatments that threaten fertility.
  • Obstetrics and the departments of Pathology and Hematology conduct extensive research into infant mortality during pregnancy.
  • We also conducts research into menopausal complaints, surrogacy and sexuality problems in women who have or had cancer of the genital organs.

The Gynecological Oncology research programme is fully integrated into the Oncology center and the GUIDE research school.
