The Research Instrumentmakerij (RI) develops and manufactures equipment for education, research and patient care as part of scientific and medical innovation. In this broad field of activity, the RI develops and makes precision equipment, experimental set-ups and instruments from various materials. The production of electronic equipment and technical software is also possible.

A product can be technically or economically difficult to implement, but thanks to extensive technical knowledge and experience, the employees always succeed in realising the customer requested product. Done by technical requirements, with close cooperation with the client.

Request Procedure

7 steps to achieve you goal

    • Client / customer needs technical support because:
    • Customer has an idea to develop something
    • Customer wants to adjust something existing
    • Would like support in improving the work process (higher reproducibility)
    • Want to have a 3d print made
    • Wants to produce parts that have already been designed
    • Client contacts RI (research instrument maker)
    • Will visit the instrument workshop
    • Fills in 3d print request via website
  • As a result of the first application, a Plan of requirements is drawn up together with the customer or an employee of the RI looks at the workplace to clarify the PVE. Details are recorded in project management software and the customer receives a summary of this.

  • RI employee gets to work on the assignment and in most cases will come up with a 3d design to discuss the assignment with the customer with advanced visual support.

  • If the client approves of the previous step, production will start, using the most modern production techniques, a high-quality solution will be delivered.

  • Product is delivered and installed on site if necessary

  • Service may be facilitated by the RI over time.
